A somewhat loud rock duo from Northampton, Massachusetts
SO FARSept, 2010: We're only up to step #6. August, 2010: We have officially begun recording our first one or two EPs. July, 2010: We almost booked our first real gig! But we didn't. June, 2010: We've got our own lives to lead! Quit badgering us! Mar. 10th: Here's a nice write-up 'bout us in The Valley Advocate. Feb. 23rd: We'll be on hiatus for awhile while Sturgis heads out on tour with MC Frontalot (here are some random photos of them kickin' it at SXSW). Tom makes careful plans to stay home, weeping & pining & secretly practicing his mad rhymes. Jan/Feb 2010: We play our first show, and win the semi-finals of The Happy Valley Showdown. Our second show (video at right) is the finals, which we gracefully lose to the very cool dudes in Graph. Nov/Dec 2009: Tom starts writing a bunch of crappy songs on his crappy guitar. Sturgis offers to hit things loudly. After briefly considering "Wicked Tambourines," the name of the project eventually becomes "The Demographic."
